Chief Minister Meets Delegation Led By Shehzad Roy in His Tent Office

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif arrived at his tent office at 7am today and chaired various meetings. A delegation led by famous musician and social worker Shehzad Roy called on the CM to discuss educational reforms and the steps Punjab Government has taken to improve the standard of education. The delegation appreciated the various steps taken by CM in the education sector especially the establishment of the District Education Authorities for which legislation has been passed and these autonomous monitoring authorities will soon be established in every district in Punjab. These authorities will effectively monitor public schools. A fruitful discussion took place regarding other education related initiatives of Punjab Government; the delegation stated that state of affairs in the education sector were much better in Punjab when compared with other provinces and the CM knows how to get things done.
